Yummi was born out of a simple frustration — you hear the ice cream truck jingle, you run outside, and it's already gone. That familiar childhood moment of missing the truck became the spark for something bigger.
Founded by Chris Wolkowski through CodeIT Services, Yummi started as a passion project to modernize the way ice cream trucks and food trucks connect with their communities. What began as a straightforward location-sharing idea quickly evolved into a full-featured platform — live maps, customer pings, digital menus, event scheduling, analytics, and more.
Today, Yummi is available on both iOS and Android, serving customers who want to find their favourite trucks and vendor-operators who want to grow their businesses. We're headquartered in Canada and proud to support local small businesses — one truck at a time.

Chris is the founder of CodeIT Services and the creator of Yummi. With a background in full-stack mobile and web development, he designed, built, and launched the Yummi platform from the ground up — from native iOS in Swift to a cross-platform Flutter rebuild, with Firebase powering the backend in real-time.
His vision: make it effortless for ice cream trucks and food trucks to reach their customers, and for customers to never miss their favourite truck again.
